Starting spells have been rearranged. All Kingdoms now begin with a Level 1 spell in each realm.
These are Aphrodisia, Bless, Drain Life, Midas Touch, Storm & Summon Rodents. Dispel has moved to Level 2 Enchantment and Scry has moved to Level 3 Mind.

Trood is back with a brand new invention.
Well, not really. Not Vanilla Ice level invention at least. Just a semi-solo round. So you may have unlimited Kingdoms, they just can't interact with each other. And there are no alliances or open market.

Trood has closed for some essential maintenance.
Well, actually it is because scar wyrms got loose in the firestone storage shed again, throwing them into and unstoppable frenzy and leaving a trail of scorched earth over the whole continent. See you in four weeks once the grass has grown back.

Sunki just reset for a new 6 week round.
Remember that many of the lower level spells now have new capabilities to make them much more effective at slowing down your enemies' progress.

The Shadowmere Tales spellbook is getting a much needed and requested refresh. One or two spells will be modified daily with immediate effect across all Continents, except in cases of significant change, where the effect will initially only been seen in Trood (patch code 0.20). For the initial rollout, the changes will only be discovered through play. However in a couple of weeks the full changes will be publicly documented so that beta testers may comment and suggest adjustments.

The Ruler Page (the page immediately after login where you select which Kingdom you will enter) has been significantly upgraded. Should you encounter any functional issues please note them in General Mail. If you cannot get into a Kingdom at all then leave a note on the Facebook page and I will investigate asap.

Sunki will reset on Tuesday 14th of October at 11:00 GMT.
It will remain the fast-play arena with 4 turns gained per hour. There will be no Vampires, or Werewolves, or food on the Open Market. Spell resistance will be half normal. The round will run for 4.5 weeks.

Vacation Mode now has a 24 hour minimum waiting period before your Kingdom can change its vacation status again. This applies to both entering and leaving vacation.
The 5 to 10 second lag time plaguing attacks has hopefully been fixed. Please report on this or any other bugs found in Gen Mail.

Sera will reset on Friday 3rd of October at 12:00 GMT.
Existing Sera Kingdoms will be possessed by The Mad God and remain as NPKs, however everything will reset - such as the open market, scrolls and quests. Turn rate is dropping to the traditional speed of 2 turns gained per hour! The round will have a predetermined 8-week duration.

Trood will reset on Friday 12th September at 12:00 GMT.
Periodically, all Trood Kingdoms will be taken over by The Mad God and converted into Non-Player-Kingdoms. Players are then free to create new Kingdoms in Trood and do battle with all the Kingdoms possessed by The Mad God! Each time the possession takes place players will earn XP based on their Kingdoms' score Rank and also turns used. XP is recorded at the Ruler (not Kingdom) level and is therefore cumulative and permanent. An XP leaderboard will be available to track your progress.

Sera will reset on Friday 19th of April 12pm GMT. The prior round of Sera which commenced Feb 1st was quite popular so little is being changed.
Alliances can be huge, deities are still available and all Races are present.

Sunki will reset on Friday 22nd of March 11am GMT. A fast turn rate and small alliances will have to deal with no food on the Open Market and a passive training cap of Hire+300%.
The winner will be the first to get 10 military breaks on the giant Mount Olympus non-player Kingdom.

Sera will reset on Friday 1st of February 11am GMT. The theme will be the return of three classic alliances; Nubian, Horde and Paladin. Each will have their traditional Deity. Deities start with all spells but cannot cause abuse.
Also, artifact enchantment by High Elves gets a power boost.
The World of Shadowmere is full of glorious Kingdoms engaging in warfare, magic, building, study and diplomacy.
